Garett was so excited to take his first road trip to Stone Mountain, Georgia to meet up with his MiMi and GooGoo. They hadn't seen him since he was two weeks old, so they were in for quite a surprise at how much he had grown!
The beautiful relief carving on Stone Mountain. It was the perfect time to visit, with the fall leaves changing and the weather cool and breezy.

Not left unattended, of course. The Sky Ride to the top of the mountain was pretty cool, as was the view from the top.
After the Sky Ride, we checked out a fall arts and crafts festival in the village and had dinner at a German restaurant. Even at his young age, Garett has a keen appreciation for a fine brew.

Garett absolutely loved the train ride around the mountain. I have never seen this child smile so big and coo so much! If only we had a choo-choo in our back yard, there would be no fussy nights in the Massey house!
Our weary traveller returns home, dons his pjs, and crashes out on our bed while we unpack. Love the helicopter arms!
