Garett was so excited to hang out with his MiMi and GooGoo in the Keys - he could hardly wait!

The view from our condo's porch in Tavernier. What a great way to wake up and greet the day!

That's one HUGE lobster. Looks like it might be having us for dinner.

Mommy and Garett get in touch with local wildlife at The Theatre of the Seas. Frisky bird!

Daddy and GooGoo had lots of beautiful fish to show Garett when they returned from a full day of deep sea fishing out of Islamorada. Garett jumped right in, trying to pat the fish and sort through them. Nice looking dorado (and tasting, as it turned out), Daddy!

Mom and Dad treated me and Gene to a day of backwater fishing and free babysitting. We caught some beautiful fish, including this speckled trout, and so enjoyed the surroundings - driving through the mangroves, watching the birds fishing for their breakfast.

But the best part of the trip for Garett? Spending time with his MiMi and GooGoo! Garett and MiMi feed the snook swimming around the dock after brunch at Snapper's.
GooGoo and Garett hammer down on some breakfast.

A full day of fun in Key West started off with a tour of the city by choo-choo. Garett even got to sit in the engine cab and blow the whistle!
Hanging out at the sunset celebration. Garett danced with a steel drum band and watched the Cat Man's show twice.
I had heard that the sunsets in Key West are the best in the world. After seeing one for myself, I find it hard to imagine anything that could top it...
Well, maybe I should have said "a sunset anywhere that could top it." Because, in my eyes, this handsome little boy tops everything.
