Merry Christmas

Garett isn't quite sure what Christmas is all about, but he thinks it has something to do with wearing funny hats and singing songs about reindeer.Mommy and Daddy pick out a beautiful Christmas tree for baby Garett's first Christmas.Garett relaxes by the Christmas tree after fun day out with Mommy. We attended a cookie exchange at his friend Nolan's house and brought tons of yummy cookies home to share with Daddy.
Garett meets Santa Claus at the Resident Auxillary Christmas party.
Santa's Little Helper worked all day making toys and just couldn't resist a quick nap in Mommy's arms.Garett is getting closer to the true meaning of Christmas. It's not all about funny hats and reindeer songs - it's also about funny pajamas...
with reindeer footies!

"The lights were pretty cool Mommy, but it's freezing out here! Can a baby get a hot cocoa?"
"For, me? Gosh!" Garett is the lucky recipient of a big stack of Christmas presents from afar, loving cousins in Texas and Kentucky.

Who needs gifts, when you've got a furry Christmas gift bag to chew on?
Goo Goo and Garett admire the Christmas tree lights.

Garett's maiden voyage in his Bumbo seat, a Christmas gift from Mommy and Daddy. Yes, he looks a little wobbly, but we're getting stronger every day!
Is there anything more precious than a sleeping child?
Can we open presents now? Can we, please, please, please?
Garett loves Mommy the Tickle-Monster! Garett and cousin Aidan dig into a few stocking stuffers from their MiMi and GooGoo - check out that cool fishing rod and reel combo!

My sweet baby boy - what chubby cheeks you have!
Garett has a stocking of his very own! And, it's so big, he can almost fit in it!
Garett leaves milk and cookies out for Santa, as well as a few carrots for the reindeer. Poor thing, he was so tired and ready for beddy-bye.
Garett must have been a perfect little angel this year - just look at all the toys Santa left for him by the tree!
Santa sure has a weird sense of humor! "Mommy, what is this green thing and why isn't he wearing pants?"
"Whatchu lookin' at?" Garett engages in a staring contest with his rainforest pinwheel during Christmas dinner.
Garett was truly spoiled with gifts this Christmas, but I honestly don't think anything made him happier than watching everyone open their gifts. He just loved hearing the paper tear and playing with the shiny ribbons and bows!
Garett ponders the contents of the box. "Is it socks? Oh no, it feels like socks. I didn't ask for socks! I asked for a Red Rider BB Gun!"
