This weekend, we had the first 80 degree day in months in Columbia. So, the Massey family headed out to the Riverbanks Zoo to enjoy the weather. Half the city must have been there! We were also anxious to try out Mommy's new camera.

First stop, the meerkat exhibit.
Next stop, the elephant exhibit. Who knew elepants have such beautiful eyelashes?

Next stop, the giraffe overlook. Mommy's favorite! We were a little too late to feed the giraffes, though.
It was nap time at the kangaroo and wallaby exhibit.

Luckily, the lion cubs were out to play.
Last stop, the carousel. Garett loved his first carousel ride on the silverback gorilla, although Mommy worried it was a bit too fast for him. "Thanks for the ride, buddy."
