Brrr...it's Halloween

Halloween night in North Carolina was a bit different this year than years past in South Carolina. Instead of sweating while trick-or-treating, we were freezing! It rained until an hour past dark and the temps were near freezing. To make matters worse, Gene got stuck in the OR. Garett and I made the best of it, though. We made it to a few houses, then practically ran home. Trick-or-treating was such a bust, it's a good thing we had lots of fun Halloween festivities that month. Check it out...
Garett and his buddy AJ hang at Riverbanks "Boo at the Zoo."
"Trick or treat! Give us something good to eat!"
Roasting marshmallows with Daddy.
Doin' the "Monster Mash" on the dance floor.
The Halloween costume parade and party at Garett's preschool. Aren't they adorable?
Garett helped me decorate owl cupcakes for the party, too!
Pumpkin carving is serious business with these two. Garett is definitely his daddy's child - loves working with his hands and will keep trying until he "gets it right."
Pumpkins a'glow - my favorite Halloween tradition. Garett loved lighting them and blowing them out every night of Halloween week.
