Fall Frolicking

First up, a trip to Maple View Dairy Farm in Hillsborough for a hayride, animal encounters and dessert at the ice creamery.
We were excited that Daddy had an early day at work, so he was able to join us!
Sweet baby calf. We learned so much about how a dairy farm works, and took in all the sights, sounds and smells (ick).
Best part of the trip, other than the ice cream of course, getting' rowdy on the hay pile!
Sunset snuggles with my boy.
Next up, a trip to Ganyard Hill Farm in Durham for pumpkin pickin' and lots more!
Garett is never one to back down from a challenge...
or an inadvisable stunt. I'm certain a few trips to the ER are in our future with this kid.
Who's that driving the tractor? What kind of a place is this anyway?
Corn maze looked like lots of fun, but Garett only made it a few yards before he turned around and ran back to the tractor.
The haystack slide was definitely more his speed, as was rolling around in the corn crib. Poor kid still had corn in his undies when we got home!
Those were some well-fed goats, I tell you.
If you didn't get your fill in the pumpkin patch, there was plenty of cotton pickin' to do.

Gene gets a little help from Garett while testing the weight limit on our stroller.
