What a huge relief it was to finally get a contract on our home! We stopped by the house on a recent trip to Columbia to finalize a few details before the October 31st closing, and it proved to be more bittersweet than expected. So many memories, on these very steps alone - this is where we took our first family picture after bringing Garett home from the hospital. We've watched Garett crawl up these steps as a toddler and run down them as a preschooler. For today, it's goodbye hugs and tears. A new family will give it a new life, and we'll begin again somewhere else.
